Abigail Frimpong is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist and is also Certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Abigail is the CEO and the Founder of Mental Peace Psychiatry. Abigail has extensive experience working with vulnerable populations suffering from serious physical ailments with comorbid psychiatric, mental, behavioral, and substance use disorders in the emergency, inpatient and outpatient settings. With clients that range in age, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status, Abigail is dedicated to providing effective care through compassionate and evidence-based treatment. Through her training and career, she has developed the skills to diagnose and manage psychiatric patients through medications and non-pharmacological interventions with special attention to observed changes and ongoing developments. Abigail aims to reduce the stigma of mental health. Her practice includes education and community outreach to promote access to mental health care to the disadvantaged populations.
